My KA

On this page you will be able too edit personal metrics that will help you calculate keto adaptation and customize macro and micronutrients.

You will also be able too set up a nutrition plan by importing recipe's or foods from the KA Mess Hall, this will be added to daily and weekly macro and micro nutrient values and give you feedback if you are lacking or overconsuming nutrients.

You will have the ability to check your own physical parameters based on inputs such as nutrition, metrics and workouts. These layers will include the following:

  • Recovery status per muscle group
  • Glycogen replenishment
  • Training status per muscle group and alerts on undertrained muscles

You will also be able too configure your own calendar with customizable workout and nutrition plans.

We will also at a later point implement a fasting tool, which will highlight optimal timings in the calendar for workouts during and after fasts, depending on increased HGH production and improved protein synthesis.

KA Laboratory

The laboratory is split into 2 main categories, nutritional science and performance science. Articles will cover topics related too benefits and drawbacks of certain nutritional sources, mechanics of human biology  and methods of reaching peak performance for elite athletes.

All articles in the KA laboratory are based on scientific studies, where the studies are linked in the footnotes of every article. We have 4 different grades for each article, that indicates the scientific confidence of the study. This does not necessarily determine the actual validity of the topic, but does often indicate the level of acceptance in main stream culture.

Scientific studies have a clearly defined hierarchy of value, and this is how we determine our 4 grades of confidence.

Grade 1:

Grade 2:

Grade 3:

Grade 4:

KA Mess Hall

At the Mess Hall you will find our database of basic food items. Every food will include the following basic information

  • All values of essential vitamins and minerals
  • Amount of protein, balance of amino acids and bioavailability of the protein for use as muscle tissue
  • Amount of fat, breakdown of the level of saturation of the fat in addition too the important omega 3/6 ratio
  • Amount of carbohydrate, broken down by fiber, glucose/starch and fructose

A deeper analasys of the basic macro and micronutrients in additional too the effects of phytonutrients and hormone respons, they will be given scores from 0-10. Values below 5 indicates that there is an overall negative effect of this food, often by causing inflammation or a strong blood sugar spike.

  • Mineral and electrolyte score: Score is weighted heavily on the most important minerals that are harder too meet the RDI. Scores below 5 can be caused by high amounts of one mineral that can be toxic when overconsuming
  • Vitamin score: Same criteria as mineral and electrolyte score
  • Protein score: The protein score is determined by the amount of protein per 100g, where higher amount yields a stronger score. Any protein source with a balanced amino acid profile and high bioavailability will get a higher score.
  • Fat score: The fat score is also determined on the amount of fat per 100g, higher amounts of healthy fats will yield a higher score. Saturated fats are generally considered higher quality, as unsaturated fats are succeptible too higher levels of oxidation. Omega 3/6 ratios of below 1:2 will boost the fat score, while ratios higher will lower it. Poly unsaturated fats in liquid form will greatly decrease the fat score as they are often highly oxidated.
  • Carbohydrate score: A perfect carbohydrate score is the lowest possible net carbohydrate per calorie of food. Fiber doest not count towards net carbohydrate.
  • KA score: This score is the weighted average of all above mentioned scores. It also takes factors such as phytonutrients and hormon respons, in addition too the fat too protein ratio, which will affect then insulin spike.

KA Performance center

The performance center is a phase 2 product.

Here we will implement traning plans that can be integrated into all the calculators at "My KA".

Our goal is too also be able too create custom workouts that will have automatically calculated recovery times per muscle group, amount of glycogen usage and what the optimal post workout nutrition would be
